Location of Russian Armies in 1914?

Scott: I hope this is the proper forum for this question, and I apologize for posting in English. I am trying to find a map which would show the location of armies, Corps, divisions and independent brigades at the start of the First World War (or about August 20, 1914). If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. If anyone would like to contact me directly, my e-mail is ssz0407@msn.com. Again sorry for the intrusion and thanks for any help, Scott

Zouave: Dear Scott, I'm afraid you won't find such maps. IMHO, there are only maps showing the location of the armies maximum on one front only. regards, Michael

Историк: The location of armies, corps and cavalry divisions: Source: Белой А. Галицийская битва. М. – Л., 1929. / Галицийская битва (There is also a detailed order of battle in South-Western Front)

Scott: Someone did an excellent job on that map. I have only seen the one included in Nikolai Glovin book. They included the German and Austro-Hungarian armies as provided in thier official histories exactly. Thank you very much. GREATLY APPRECIATED, Scott

Scott: Hello, Sorry to intrude again. Can anyone guide me to a resource (book or website) that details the dates on which army divisions were created, activated, or sent to the front between 1914 and 1917? Or to which corps they belonged. I do have a list of when corps appeared at the front, but it doesn't mention which divisions were assigned to the corps. I tried the RGVIA archives, but not being able to speak/read Russian makes it particularly difficult. And, I should ask if there is a more appropriate website for me to post these questions. Again, many thanks for any help. Scott

Nikolai: Hi there, I'm not very good in the questions, but, it seems to me, some information you can find in the supplements of К.А. Залесский ПЕРВАЯ МИРОВАЯ ВОЙНА правители и военачальникию Best regards Nikolai
